Mango Tree Sunset, Acrylic on canvas, 48″ x 36″, 2025
While traveling in India in 2023, I serendipitously spent a few nights on a farm in the countryside just outside the city of Rishikesh. There was a huge mango tree on the property, where I spent many hours relaxing in its shade, sketching. Behind the guest house ran a river, where I enjoyed evening walks at sunset. This painting merges both of those iconic images from my time on the farm.
