Northwood, acrylic and mixed media on canvas, 40″x30″, 2023
After 15 years in Los Angeles, I moved across the country to West Palm Beach, Florida, astounded that I could rent an affordable apartment a quick bike ride from the most magical tropical beaches. My first neighborhood was Northwood, and I adored it. Right outside my front door, was this stunning vine with huge waxy leaves. That was the basis of this painting.
